Birch Bark Tee-Pee & Canoe 3"
Birch bark was very important in traditional Anishinaabe cultures and used for a variety of things, including covering wigwams, food storage, canoe construction and more. Now it is often used for constructing decorative items, such as this 3 inch tee-pee and canoe figurine. Each item is lovingly hand-crafted by Native People in Canada and the United States using traditional materials of birch bark and sweet grass.
The Anishinaabe are a group of culturally-related people indigenous to the Great Lakes Region.
